The Education and Outreach Volunteer plays a valuable role in Houston Humane Society Wildlife Center’s ability to provide education and outreach. The center offers hour-long, curriculum-aligned, live and virtual educational programs introducing our Animal Ambassadors to a variety of audiences such as students, community organizations, Scout meetings, and veterinary students. We also have educational booths at various events.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Setup and Breakdown
- Public Interaction
- Game/Activity Facilitation
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must complete volunteer registration and orientation
- Must have reliable transportation
Changing Office Locations:
The HHS Wildlife Center will be changing locations to a new and improved building in 2024. The new location will be 3100 W. Fuqua Street, Houston, TX 77045.Â
