The Power Wash Shift Volunteer plays a valuable role in Houston Humane Society Wildlife Center’s daily operations. You will have the opportunity to help us keep up with sanitizing enclosures relating to the rehabilitation of wildlife. Volunteers will assist staff in power washing enclosures to ensure we have available sanitized space for our rehabilitation animals. This opportunity will assist the center by keeping the facility clean and organized and allowing staff and volunteers in advanced opportunities to focus on more specialized tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and disinfecting enclosures
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Must pass a background check
- Must complete volunteer registration and orientation
- Must have reliable transportation
- No Prerequisites or Monthly Commitments; this is a once a week opportunity
Changing Office Locations:
The HHS Wildlife Center will be changing locations to a new and improved building in 2024. The new location will be 3100 W. Fuqua Street, Houston, TX 77045.Â
