HHS Wildlife Center Volunteer Program

Our busy season is ending and we are excitedly getting ready for our big move to our new building. In anticipation of this move we are closing suites 122 and 208 in December.

What does this mean for volunteers?

All advanced shifts other than Critter Care are closed until Spring. Critter Care will remain open during the off season. Support Shift opportunities will reduce to an as needed basis and are likely to contain a variety of tasks such as prepping program materials, cleaning, and packing. Leading up to the move in the Spring single events like packing, moving, working with other organizations, seasonal, and outreach events may also be added.  Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us.  We will update the website when the move is complete.

Thank you for your interest in our organization. Here at the Houston Humane Society Wildlife Center we take in over 4,000 wild animals every year.
Our facility operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we depend on reliable volunteers to keep our organization running.
We cannot continue our life-saving work without you!
With so many diverse opportunities, you can find the right job for you and your availability.
Check out our opportunities below and watch our Interest and Orientation Video for more information on how you can help.
